Your Smile
Your beautiful smile chases shadows
from the corners of my day
and brings a quiet joy
that settles deep inside.
A spark of bright assurance
a whisper of what can be
when everything else seems dark.
My chest expands
my heart, a sudden warmth
a soft, internal sun blooming.
And this great love for you
it deepens, a wishful kiss
sent in dreams to your heart.
When you smile, that light
I feel the ground beneath me soften
a sudden lift in my spirit
as if I could fly straight to you.
I ache to bridge the space
to rush toward your beautiful smile
and pour out my love
a depth you haven't known existed.
This love is everything
a vastness with no edge
no ocean wide enough
no star system large enough
to hold how much I love you.
